On Monday 16th December 2019, Argyll and Bute Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on the length of road indicated in the schedule below. Exceptions will apply to (a) a vehicle being used in an emergency for fire and rescue services, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes;(b) a vehicle being used for carrying out the works; or (c) a vehicle requiring access to and from affected properties. Access to the majority of properties will be available from the south entrance.

The restrictions imposed by this Order which are required to allow essential works to be carried out will be effective when indicated by signs from 0001 hours on Monday 6th January 2020 to 2359 hours on Friday the 24th January 2020, or until the works are complete, whichever is the earlier.

SCHEDULE- PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

That length of the Strachur to St. Catherines Service Road (2), from a point 220 metres or thereby southwest of its north junction with the Cairndow-Strachur-Toward Road (A815) adjacent to ‘Rosebank’, extending in a generally southerly direction for a distance of 150 metres or thereby.
