Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 19 June 2023, until 18:00 on 15 September 2023, is to impose the restrictions listed below. The works will be carried out in two sections simultaneously, and each phase will take approximately four weeks to complete.

Section A on Balnagask Road and Abbey Place from Farquhar Avenue to Victoria Road.

Phase 1; there will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Balnagask Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Farquhar Avenue to its junction with Abbey Place

Phase 2; there will be a one-way restriction on Abbey Place, Aberdeen, from its junction with Glenbervie Road to its junction with Balnagask Road. The permitted direction of travel will be southbound only. An alternative route is available via Balnagask Road, Mansefield Road, and Victoria Road. There will be a prohibition of driving on Glenbervie Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Abbey Place to the steps leading to number 138 Glenbervie Road. An alternative route is available via Abbey Place, Balnagask Road, and Mansefield Road. There will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Abbey Place, Aberdeen, from Its junction with Balnagask Road to its junction with Glenbervie Road.

Phase 3; there will be a one-way restriction on Abbey Place, Aberdeen, from its junction with Victoria Road to its junction with Glenbervie Road. The permitted direction of travel will be southbound only. An alternative route is available via Balnagask Road, Mansefield Road, and Victoria Road. There will be a prohibition of driving on Glenbervie Lane, Aberdeen, from its junction with Abbey Place to the garage at the rear of number 242 Victoria Road. An alternative route is available via Abbey Place, Balnagask Road, and Mansefield Place. There will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Abbey Place, Aberdeen, from Its junction with Glenbervie Road to its junction with Victoria Road.

Section B on Balnagask Circle and Balnagask Road from Balnagask Crescent to St Fitticks Road

Phase 1; there will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Balnagask Circle, Aberdeen, from its junction with Balnagask Crescent to its junction with Balnagask Road.

Phase 2; there will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Balnagask Road, Aberdeen, form its junction with Balnagask Circle to its junction with Pentland Road. There will be a prohibition of driving on Pentland Road, Aberdeen, at its junction with Balnagask Road.

Phase 3; there will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Balnagask Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Pentland Road to its junction with St Fitticks Road. There will be a prohibition of driving on Pentland Road, Aberdeen, at its junction with Balnagask Road.

Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
