Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the first Order, which will operate from 23:50 on 5 February 2023 until 23:59 on 14 February 2023 is to close Broad Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Queen Street and Upperkirkgate to all vehicles including pedal cycles.
From 17:00 until 23:00 on each night between 9th and 12th of February 2023, the roads as listed below in Schedule 1 will be closed to all vehicles including pedal cycles. Various alternative routes are available.
The effect of the second Order, which will operate from 17:00 until 23:00 on each night between 9th and 12th February 2023, the roads in the corridor of Union Terrace, Aberdeen, Rosemount Viaduct, Aberdeen, Blackfriars Street, Aberdeen and St Andrew Street, Aberdeen, will be closed to all traffic with the exception of service buses travelling in a northbound, an eastbound, a northbound and an eastbound direction, respectively.
From 17:00 until 23:00 on each night between 9th and 12th February 2023, the one-way restriction on St Catherines Wynd will also be suspended.
From 08:00 on 8 February 2023, until 23:59 on 12 February 2023 is to suspend all parking on Schedule 2 on either side of the roads below, with the exception of vehicles loading and/or unloading, between 07:00 and 16:00 on each day of this Order. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
Also, from 17:00 until 23:00 on each night between 9th and 12th of February 2023, the existing parking bays on Little John Street, Aberdeen, and on Queen Street, Aberdeen, will be suspended, with the exception of Blue Badge holders and also the Pedestrians Only restriction on Netherkirkgate, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Broad Street and St Catherines Wynd shall be suspended.
