Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order, which will operate 09:00 on 20th February, 2023 until 07:00 on 21st February, 2023, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Ash-Hill Road, Aberdeen, from the rear of number 1 Ash-Hill Way to the car park entrance to numbers 131-163 Ash-Hill Drive. An alternative route is available via Cornhill Terrace, Ash-Hill Drive and Ash-Hill Road
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the same stretch of road.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
