Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Skene Terrace, Aberdeen, from its junction with Summer Street to the gable end of the George Bennett Mitchell Hall from 18:30 on 19th October, 2022, until 07:00 on 20th October, 2022. An alternative route is available via Rosemount Viaduct, Skene Street and Summer Street. The one-way system on Skene Terrace, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Rosemount Viaduct and Summer Street will be suspended to allow egress from properties. There will be a prohibition of right turns from Skene Terrace, Aberdeen on to Rosemount Viaduct; The filter lane on Rosemount Viaduct, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Skene Terrace and Skene Street from 09:00 on 19th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 21st October, 2022.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible
There will also be a temporary one-way restriction on Crimon Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Summer Street and Golden Square from 09:00 on 21st October, 2022, until 17:00 on 22nd October, 2022. The permitted direction of travel will be south-eastbound only. An alternative route north-westbound vehicles is available via Golden Square, South Silver Street, Union Street, Union Terrace, Rosemount Viaduct and Summer Street.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
