Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;
Berrywell Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Berrywell Gardens to the boundary between number 2 and 4 Berrywell Road from 09:00 on 14th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 15th October, 2022. An alternative route is available via Berrywell Gardens, Victoria Street and Southesk Place; Berrywell Gardens, Aberdeen, from its junction with Berrywell Road to the boundary between number 16 and 18 Berrywell Gardens from 09:00 on 17th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 18th October, 2022. An alternative route is available via Berrywell Road, Southesk Place and Victoria Street; Berrywell Gardens, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Berrywell Walk and Berrywell Place from 09:00 on 24th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 25th October, 2022. An alternative route is available via Gladstone Place and Victoria Street; Berrywell Gardens, Aberdeen, from its junction with Gladstone Place to the footpath at the side of numbers 34/44 Berrywell Gardens from 09:00 on 31st October, 2022, until 17:00 on 1st November, 2022. An alternative route is available via Gladstone Place and Victoria Street; Gladstone Place, Aberdeen, from its junction with Berrywell Gardens to the gable end of number15 Gladstone Place from 09:00 on 3rd November, 2022, until 17:00 on 4th November, 2022. An alternative route is available via Victoria Street and Berrywell Gardens; Berrywell Gardens, Aberdeen, from its junction with Victoria Street to the boundary between number 4 and 6 Berrywell Gardens from 09:00 on 11th November, 2022, until 17:00 on 12th November, 2022. An alternative route is available via Victoria Street and Gladstone Place
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible
There will also be a temporary prohibition of traverse on Berrywell Walk from its junction with Berrywell Road the boundary between number 7 and 9 Berrywell Walk from 09:00 on 19th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 20th October, 2022. An alternative route is available via Berrywell Road and Berrywell Gardens.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Berrywell Gardens, Berrywell Place, Berrywell Road, Berrywell Walk, Gladstone Place, Pitmedden Road, Victoria Street, Dyce, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 13th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 23rd November, 2022.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. Aberdeen City Council maintain the right to reduce this to 50m on any site should they see it as necessary to maintain public safety/access.

The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
