Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 04:00 on 03 October 2022 until 17:00 on 10 December 2022, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Sheddocksley Road between Bellfield Road and Kingsford Road, for the durations of the works. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on both side of the road the same stretch of road for the duration of the works. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during ACC carriageway resurfacing works.
