Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 04:00 on 29 August, 2022 until 17:00 on 18 September 2022, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Riverside Drive, Aberdeen eastbound between Great Southern Road and the Duthie Park car park exit. Diversions will be in place for the duration of the work. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of Riverside Drive for any reason for the duration of the works. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during ACC crossing refurbishment works.
