Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;
Park Place, Aberdeen, from its junction with Park Lane to the boundary between numbers 10 and 12 Park Place from 09:00 on 10th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 11th October, 2022. An alternative route is available via Park Lane and Princes Street; Park Lane, Aberdeen, from its junction with Princes Street to the boundary between numbers 1 and 2 Park Lane from 09:00 on 12th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 13th October, 2022. An alternative route is available via Princes Street and Park Place; Park Place, Aberdeen, from its junction with Princes Street to the footpath between numbers 23/25 and 27/29 Park Place from 09:00 on 20th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 21st October, 2022. An alternative route is available via Princes Street and Park Lane; Frederick Street, Aberdeen, from its junction with King Street to the gable end of number 6 Frederick Street from 09:00 on 27th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 28th October, 2022. An alternative route is available via Park Street, Justice Port Roundabout, East North Street and King Street. The one-way system on Frederick Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with King Street and Park Street will be suspended to allow egress from properties.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Frederick Street, Park Lane, Park Place, Park Street, Princes Street, Summerfield Place, Summerfield Terrace, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 20th September, 2022, until 17:00 on 31st October, 2022.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. Aberdeen City Council maintain the right to reduce this to 50m on any site should they see it as necessary to maintain public safety/access.
