Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 01 August 2022, until 17:00 on 15 October 2022, is to impose the restrictions listed below. Works will be carried out in phases, and advance warning signs will be on street at least one week before each phase commences.
Phase 1; Prohibition of driving on Cairngorm Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Cairnvale Crescent to its junction with Gardner Drive. There will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road. An alternative route is available via Provost Watt Drive and Faulds Gate.
Phase 2; The prohibition of driving on Cairngorm Drive, Aberdeen, will continue. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Cairngorm Road, Aberdeen, form its junction with Faulds Gate to its junction with Deevale Terrace, and on either side of Faulds Gate, Aberdeen, from its junction with Cairngorm Drive to the boundary between numbers 176 and 178 Faulds Gate, and on either side of Gardner Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Cairngorm Drive to adjacent to the southern gable of numbers 13-23 Gardner Drive.
Phase 3; There will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Cairngorm Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Faulds Gate to the eastern gable of numbers 169-179 Cairngorm Drive, and on either side of Cairngorm Road, Aberdeen, form its junction with Faulds Gate to its junction with Deevale Terrace, and on either side of Faulds Gate, Aberdeen, from its junction with Cairngorm Drive to the boundary between numbers 176 and 178 Faulds Gate, and on either side of Gardner Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Cairngorm Drive to adjacent to the southern gable of numbers 13-23 Gardner Drive.
Phase 4; Prohibition of driving on Gardner Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Matthews Road to its junction with Cairngorm Road. northbound scheduled bus services will be exempt. There will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road. An alternative route is available via Cairngorm Drive, Caiesdykes Drive, and Caiesdykes Road.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
