Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;
Urquhart Street, Aberdeen, from its junction with Seaforth Road to the boundary between the rear of number 48 Seaforth Road and 20 Urquhart Street from 09:00 on 7th September, 2022, until 17:00 on 8th September, 2022. An alternative route is available via Seaforth Road, Roslin Street and Urquhart Road; Urquhart Street, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 7 and 9 Urquhart Street to the boundary between number 11 and 13 Urquhart Street from 09:00 on 13th September, 2022, until 17:00 on 14th September, 2022. An alternative route is available via Seaforth Road, Roslin Street and Urquhart Road; Urquhart Lane, Aberdeen, from its junction with Seaforth Road to the rear of number 44 Seaforth Road from 09:00 on 19th September, 2022, until 17:00 on 20th September, 2022. An alternative route is available via Seaforth Road, Urquhart Street and Urquhart Road. The one-way system on Urquhart Lane, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Seaforth Road and Urquhart Road will be suspended to allow egress from properties; Jackson Terrace, Aberdeen, from its junction with Colville Place to the boundary between number 6 and 8 Jackson Terrace from 09:00 on 22nd September, 2022, until 17:00 on 23rd September, 2022. An alternative route is available via Colville Place, Urquhart Road and Urquhart Lane.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Colville Place, Hunter Place, Jackson Terrace, Seaford Road, Urquhart Lane, Urquhart Road, Urquhart Street, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 1st September, 2022, until 17:00 on 12th October, 2022.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. Aberdeen City Council maintain the right to reduce this to 50m on any site should they see it as necessary to maintain public safety/access.
