Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 04:00 on 14 July, 2022 until 15:00 on 25 July, 2022, is to impose a prohibition of driving on Six Roads Roundabout in its entirety. There will be no through road from any approach. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Ash-Hill Drive between Cairncry Road and Rosehill Drive, on Cairncry Road between Six Roads Roundabout and Ash-hill Drive, on Hilton Street between Six Roads Roundabout and Southwest boundary of no. 86, on Back Hilton Street between Six Roads Roundabout and East boundary of no. 84 for any purpose for the duration of the works. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. There will also be a prohibition of turning right from Hilton Drive (slip road in front of 6 Hilton Drive to 92 Hilton Street). The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during ACC carriageway resurfacing works.
