Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;
Milleath Walk, Aberdeen, from the footpath at the rear of number 6 Craignook Road to boundary between number 4 and 6 Milleath Walk from 09:00 on 1st August, 2022, until 08:45 on 2nd August, 2022. An alternative route is available via Craignook Road, Balloch Way and Muirton Crescent; Muirton Crescent, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 7 and 9 Muirton Crescent to the boundary between number 18 and 20 Muirton Crescent from 09:00 on 3rd August, 2022, until 08:45 on 4th August, 2022. An alternative route is available via Milleath Walk and Craignook Road; Dunbennan Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Ardlair Terrace to entrance for the garages at the side of number 8 Dunbennan Road from 09:00 on 8th August, 2022, until 08:45 on 9th August, 2022. An alternative route is available via Ardlair Terrace, Craignook Road and Balloch Way; Ardlair Terrace, Aberdeen, from its junction with Dunbennan Road to the boundary between number 35 and 37 Ardlair Terrace from 09:00 on 11th August, 2022, until 08:45 on 12th August, 2022. An alternative route is available via Dunbennan Road, Balloch Way and Craignook Road; Sluie Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Garmaddie Lane to the boundary between number 26 and 28 Sluie Drive from 09:00 on 13th August, 2022, until 07:00 on 14th August, 2022. An alternative route is available via Drinnies Crescent and Garmaddie Lane; Garmaddie Lane, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Balloch Way and Drinnies Crescent from 09:00 on 15th August, 2022, until 17:00 on 16th August, 2022. An alternative route is available via Balloch Way and Sluie Drive; Craignook Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Balloch Way and Milleath Walk from 09:00 on 15th August, 2022, until 17:00 on 16th August, 2022. An alternative route is available via Balloch Way, Muirton Crescent and Milleath Walk.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Ardlair Terrace, Balloch Way, Belmuir Gardens, Belrorie Circle, Berrywell Walk, Craignook Road, Delgaty Lane, Drinnies Crescent, Dunbennan Road, Garmaddie Lane, Milleath Walk, Muirton Crescent, Netherview Avenue, Princess Crescent, Princess Drive, Princess Road, Princess Walk, Princess Way, Raxton Place, Sluie Drive, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 8th July, 2022, until 17:00 on 18th August, 2022.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. Aberdeen City Council maintain the right to reduce this to 50m on any site should they see it as necessary to maintain public safety/access.
