Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 19:00 on 24 May 2022, until 06:00 on 07 June 2022, is to close the Southbound carriageway of Market Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Commercial Quay and North Esplanade West between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 Monday to Friday for the duration of the works. The same section of carriageway will be down to one lane during the hours of 06:00 and 19:00 daily for the duration of the works. These restrictions are in the interest of public safety during ACC carriageway resurfacing works. Diversions will be in place for the duration.
