Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;

Greenburn Drive, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Inverurie Road and Greenburn Terrace from 09:00 on 15th February, 2022, until 17:00 on 16th February, 2022. An alternative route is available via Inverurie Road, Bucksburn Roundabout, Sclattie Roundabout and Bankhead Avenue; Greenburn Drive, Aberdeen, from the boundary between numbers 57-61 and 63-67 Greenburn Drive the boundary between numbers 63-67 and 69-73 Greenburn Drive from 09:00 on 17th February, 2022, until 17:00 on 18th February, 2022. An alternative route is available via Inverurie Road, Bucksburn Roundabout, Sclattie Roundabout and Bankhead Avenue; Bankhead Avenue, Aberdeen, from the access road leading to Aberdeen City Council Bucksburn depot to the entrance for Stoneywood School from 09:00 on 19th February, 2022, until 17:00 on 20th February, 2022. An alternative route is available via Bankhead Road and Greenburn Drive; Greenburn Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Bankhead Road to the entrance for the Electric Sub-Station from 09:00 on 24th February, 2022, until 17:00 on 25th February, 2022. An alternative route is available via Bankhead Road and Bankhead Avenue; Bankhead Avenue, Aberdeen, from the boundary between numbers 81-85 and 87-91 Bankhead Avenue to the boundary between numbers 93-97 and 99 Bankhead Avenue from 09:00 on 28th February, 2022, until 17:00 on 1st March, 2022. An alternative route is available via Inverurie Road and Greenburn Drive; Bankhead Avenue, Aberdeen, from its junction with Greenburn Drive to the boundary between numbers 53-57 and 59-61 Bankhead Avenue from 09:00 on 3rd March, 2022, until 17:00 on 4th March, 2022. An alternative route is available via Bankhead Road and Greenburn Drive; Bankhead Avenue, Aberdeen, from its junction with Greenburn Drive to the boundary between numbers 71-73 and 75-79 Bankhead Avenue from 09:00 on 7th March, 2022, until 17:00 on 8th March, 2022. An alternative route is available via Inverurie Road and Greenburn Drive.

Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible

There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Bankhead Avenue, Greenburn

Drive, Greenburn Terrace, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 15th February, 2022, until 17:00 on 28th March, 2022.

Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.

The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. Aberdeen City Council maintain the right to reduce this to 50m on any site should they see it as necessary to maintain public safety/access.
