Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 09:30 on 24 January, 2022, until 17:00 on 11 February, 2022, is to close Countesswells Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with the entrance to RGC Countesswells Sports Field and its east junction with Countesswells Avenue. . Access to RGC Sports Fields will be available at all times. There will also be a prohibition of waiting at any time on both sides of on either side of the same stretch of road. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense
The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during installation of a new entrance for a supermarket by Leiths.
