Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;

Kepplehills Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Sclattie Place to the boundary between number 64 and 66 Kepplehills Drive from 08:00 on 15th February, 2022, until 07:45 on 16th February, 2022. An alternative route is available via Sclattie Place, Sclattie Park and Kepplehills Road; Kepplehills Drive, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 43 and 45 Kepplehills Drive to the boundary between number 49 and 51 Kepplehills Drive from 08:00 on 16th February, 2022, until 07:45 on 17th February, 2022. An alternative route is available via Sclattie Crescent and Sclattie Park; Kepplehills Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Cloverfield Close to the gable end of number 15 Kepplehills Drive from 08:00 on 17th February, 2022, until 05:00 on 18th February, 2022. An alternative route is available via Sclattie Crescent and Sclattie Park; Sclattie Place, Aberdeen, from its junction with Kepplehills Drive to the boundary between number 36 and 38 Sclattie Place from 08:00 on 21st February, 2022, until 17:00 on 22nd February, 2022. An alternative route is available via Kepplehills Drive, Sclattie Crescent and Sclattie Walk.

Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.

There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Cloverfield Court, Cloverfield Grove, Cloverfield Place, Kepplehills Drive, Kepplehills Road, Sclattie Place, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 7th February, 2022, until 17:00 on 20th March, 2022.

Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.

The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more

than 100 metres at a time. Aberdeen City Council maintain the right to reduce this to 50m on any site should they see it as necessary to maintain public safety/access.

The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
