Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 09 February, 2022 until 17:00 on 04 March, 2022, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side of Birkhall Parade from its junction with Long Walk Road to West boundary of number 15 Provost Fraser Drive, also a prohibition of waiting on either side of Beech Road from its junction with Long Walk Road to East boundary of number 3 Beech Road, also a prohibition of waiting on either side of Long Walk Terrace in its entirety between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday, for the duration of the works. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. These restrictions are in place to accommodate ACC street lighting column installations. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during these works.
