Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving and a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side of the following streets:

Kingswalk, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Kingsway and the entrance to the electric substation at the rear of number 4 Kingsway from 08:00 on 17th January, 2022, until 17:00 on 18th January, 2022. An alternative route is available via Kingsway and Kepplehills Road inset road. The one-way system on Kingswalk, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Kepplehills Road inset road and Kingsway will be suspended to allow egress from properties; Sclattie Crescent, Aberdeen from its junction with Sclattie Park to the boundary between number 3 and 5 Sclattie Crescent from 08:00 on 19th January, 2022, until 17:00 on 20th January, 2022. An alternative route is available via Sclattie Park, Sclattie Place and Sclattie Walk; Netherhills Avenue, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Kepplehills Road inset road and Netherhills Place. An alternative route is available via Kepplehills Road and Newhills Avenue; Kepplehills Road inset road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Netherhills Avenue to the boundary between number 91 Kepplehills Road and 1 Netherhills Avenue. An alternative route is available via Kepplehills Road, Newhills Avenue, Netherhills Avenue, Marischal Gardens and Marpool Place; Sclattie Park, Aberdeen, from its junction with Kepplehills Road and to the boundary between number 70 and 72 Sclattie Park. An alternative route is available via Kepplehills Road, Kepplehills Drive and Sclattie Place from 08:00 until 21:00 on 23rd January 2022.

Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.

The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones

The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
