Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on Monday, 24 January 2022, until 17:00 on Friday, 28 January 2022, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on South Avenue, Aberdeen, between its junction with North Deeside Road and the access to numbers 17-21 South Avenue. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of North Deeside Road, Cults, Aberdeen, between two points 50m either side of its junction with South Avenue. Works are expected to be completed in three days if there are no difficulties. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during works for BT Openreach.
