Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will come into operation from 00:01 on 14 December 2021, until 23:59 on 13 June 2023, is to impose certain traffic management measures on roads in the vicinity of The Event Complex Aberdeen (TECA). The measures are specified below and are necessary to prevent indiscriminate parking, facilitate the safe moving of vehicles to and from the new exhibition centre and protect public safety.
Certain lengths of prohibition of waiting at any time: -
Auchriny Circle, Bankhead Road, Brimmond View, Burndale Road, Craibstone Avenue, Crossgates, Ellerslie Road, Forrit Brae, Greenburn Drive, Greenburn Drive (Inset Road Serving properties 2-42 Greenburn Drive), Greenburn Park, Greenburn Road, Hope Farm Road, Hopecroft Avenue, Hopecroft Drive, Hopecroft Gardens, Hopecroft Road, Hopecroft Terrace, Hopetoun Court, Hopetoun Grange, Hopetoun Grange (Inset Road), Hopetoun Green, Hopetoun Road, Hopetoun Terrace, Lade Crescent, Market Street, Millhill Brae, Phoenix Place, Ruthriehill Road, Station Road, Stoneywood Road, Waterton Road, Wellheads Drive.
Clearway Prohibition of Stopping: -
A96 Inverurie Road
Between its junctions with Sclattie Roundabout and Craibstone Roundabout.
Dyce Drive
Between its junctions with A96 (Inverurie Road) and the Airport Road/Argyll Road.
Wellheads Drive
From its junction with Dyce Drive to a point 30 metres or thereby south of its junction with Wellheads Terrace.
Route for use by buses, cyclists, taxis, and private hire vehicles only: -
A96 Inverurie Road
Right-turn filter lane located on offside of northbound carriageway, from its junction with Goughburn Crescent, south-eastwards for a distance of 78 metres or thereby.
Forrit Burn Road
Southbound lane, from its junction with Wellheads Drive, southwards for a distance of 20 metres or thereby.
