Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 04:00 on 10 January, 2022 until 17:00 on 14 January, 2022 is to impose a temporary one-way restriction on Alford Place/Albyn Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with the East entrance to Harlaw Academy carpark and Union Street/Holburn Junction. The permitted direction of travel will be Eastbound only. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the same stretch of carriageway. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Albyn Grove, Aberdeen. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during street lighting and illuminated traffic sign works.
