Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 1 November, 2021 until 17:00 on 24 December, 2021, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on the south side of Western Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Don Street and east boundary of 3 Western Road. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Also the underpass from Western Road, Aberdeen, to Hayton Road and vice versa, will be closed. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during ACC works for underpass refurbishment.
