Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets: Fairview Gardens, Aberdeen, from its southern junction with Fairview Road to the boundary between number 4 and 6 Fairview Gardens from 08:00 on 11th November, 2021, until 17:00 on 12th November, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fairview Road; Fairview Road, Aberdeen, between its western junction with Fairview Street and Fairview Terrace. from 08:00 on 13th November, 2021, until 07:00 on 14th November, 2021 and also from 08:00 on 20th November, 2021, until 07:00 on 21st November, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fairview Street; Fairview Road, Aberdeen, between its southern junction with Fairview Gardens to the boundary between number 49 and 51 Fairview Road from 08:00 on 15th November, 2021, until 17:00 on 16th November, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fairview Gardens; Fairview Gardens, Aberdeen, from its northern junction with Fairview Road to the boundary between number 16 and 18 Fairview Gardens from 08:00 on 17th November, 2021, until 17:00 on 18th November, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fairview Road; Fairview Road, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 16 and 18 Fairview Road to the boundary between number 26 and 28 Fairview Road from 08:00 on 22nd November, 2021, until 17:00 on 23rd November, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fairview Avenue; Fairview Road, Aberdeen, between its eastern junction with Fairview Street and Fairview Avenue from 08:00 on 24th November, 2021, until 17:00 on 25th November, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fairview Street, western junction of Fairview Road and Fairview Avenue; Fairview Avenue, Aberdeen, from its eastern junction with Fairview Road to the boundary between number 3 and 5 Fairview Avenue from 08:00 on 26th November, 2021, until 17:00 on 27th November, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fairview Road, Fairview Street, western junction of Fairview Avenue; Fairview Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Fairview Place and Fairview Avenue from 08:00 on 29th November, 2021, until 17:00 on 30th November, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fairview Avenue; Fairview Avenue, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 22 and 24 Fairview Avenue to the boundary between number 28 and 30 Fairview Avenue from 08:00 on 3rd December, 2021, until 17:00 on 4th December, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fairview Road and Fairview Street. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Fairview Avenue, Fairview Gardens, Fairview Grove, Fairview Park, Fairview Place, Fairview Road, Fairview Street, Fairview Terrace, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 10th November, 2021, until 17:00 on 21st December, 2021. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. Aberdeen City Council maintain the right to reduce this to 50m on any site should they see it as necessary to maintain public safety/access.
