Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:00 on 13 September 2021 until 19:00 on 16 September 2021 is to impose various road closures within Hazlehead park and on Hazeldene Road, Aberdeen. Associated waiting restrictions on the section of road within Hazlehead Park, directly adjacent to the nine-hole golf course (first hole) will also be implemented during this time. From 07:00 on 13 September 2021 until 19:00 on 16 September 2021, Hazeldene Road will be closed between the access road to Hayfield Riding School and a point 50m or thereby west of the junction with Craigiebuckler Avenue. Access to Somebody Cares will be maintained via at least one of the access points and diversion routes will be signed accordingly. From 07:00 until 19:00 on the 14 September 2021, and again between 07:00 and 19:00 on the 16 September 2021, the access road to Hayfield Riding School will be closed to all traffic. These measures are necessary to protect public safety during road edge repairs and resurfacing works.
