Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets:

Oldmill Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Bon-Accord Street and Bon-Accord Crescent Lane from 08:00 on 17th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 18th September, 2021.An alternative route is available via Bon-Accord Street, Langstane Place, Bon-Accord Terrace and Bon-Accord Crescent; Springbank Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Bon-Accord Street and Springbank Place from 08:00 on 21st September, 2021, until 17:00 on 23rd September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Crown Street, Springbank Terrace and Bon-Accord Street. The one-way system on Springbank Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Crown Street and Bon-Accord Street will be suspended to allow egress from properties; Craibstone Lane, Aberdeen, from its junction with Bon-Accord Crescent to the rear on number 1-2 Bon-Accord Crescent from 08:00 on 4th October, 2021, until 17:00 on 5th October, 2021. An alternative route is available via Bon-Accord Crescent, Oldmill Road and Bon-Accord Street; West Craibstone Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Bon-Accord Terrace and Bon-Accord Square. from 08:00 on 12th October, 2021, until 17:00 on 13th October, 2021. An alternative route is available via Bon-Accord Terrace, Langstane Place, Bon-Accord Street, East Craibstone Street and Bon-Accord Square; Bon-Accord Terrace, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Langstane Place and West Craibstone Street from 08:00 on 14th October, 2021, until 17:00 on 15th October, 2021. An alternative route is available via Langstane Place, Bon-Accord Street, East Craibstone Street and Bon-Accord Square; East Craibstone Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Bon-Accord Street and Bon-Accord Square from 08:00 on 18th October, 2021, until 17:00 on 19th October, 2021. An alternative route is available via Bon-Accord

Street, Langstane Place, Bon-Accord Terrace, West Craibstone Street and Bon-Accord Square; Bon-Accord Lane, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Gordon Street and Bon-Accord Street from 08:00 on 20th October, 2021, until 17:00 on 21st October, 2021. An alternative route is available via Gordon Street, Langstane Place, Crown Street, Union Street, Bon-Accord Terrace, Langstane Place and Bon-Accord Street.

Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.

There will also be a one-way restriction on Bon-Accord Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Bon-Accord Lane and Springbank Terrace. The permitted direction of travel will be southbound only from 08:00 on 27th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 29th September, 2021. An alternative route for northbound vehicles is available via Springbank Terrace, Crown Street, Union Street, Bon-Accord Terrace and Langstane Place

There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Bon-Accord Crescent, Bon-Accord Crescent Lane, Bon-Accord Lane, Bon-Accord Square, Bon-Accord Street, Bon-Accord Terrace, Craibstone Lane, Dee Street, East Craibstone Street, Gordon Place, Gordon Street, Hardgate, Justice Mill Lane, Langstane Place, Oldmill Road, Springbank Place, Springbank Street, Springbank Terrace, West Craibstone Street, Willowbank Road, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 15th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 26th October, 2021.

Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense

The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time.
