Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Jute Street, Aberdeen, from its junction with Froghall Terrace to the boundary between number 81 and 83 Jute Street from 08:00 on 5th October, 2021, until 17:00 on 6th October, 2021. An alternative route is available via Froghall Terrace, Spital and Kings Crescent; Froghall Avenue, Aberdeen, from its junction with Elmbank Terrace to the gable end of number 1 Froghall Avenue. An alternative route is available via Elmbank Terrace, Elmbank Road and Sunnybank Place and also on Elmbank Terrace service road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Froghall Avenue to the gable end of number 11 Elmbank Terrace. The one-way system on Elmbank Terrace service road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Froghall Avenue and Froghall Terrace will be suspended to allow egress from properties from 08:00 on 13th October, 2021, until 17:00 on 15th October, 2021. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible There will also be a temporary one-way restriction on Froghall Terrace, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Canal Road and Jute Street The permitted direction of travel will be north-eastbound only. An alternative route for south-westbound vehicles is available via Jute Street, Kings Crescent, Mounthooly, Mounthooly Roundabout, Causewayend, Fraser Place and Canal Road from 08:00 on 13th October, 2021, until 17:00 on 15th October, 2021. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Elmbank Terrace, Froghall Avenue, Froghall Gardens, Froghall Road, Froghall Terrace, Jute Street, Aberdeen 08:00 on 5th October, 2021, until 17:00 on 15th November, 2021. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 50 metres at a time, in certain cases the site will be extended to a maximum length of 100 metres, only with prior approval from Aberdeen City Council.
