Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 04:00 on 27 September, 2021 until 17:00 on 03 October, 2021, is to impose a prohibition of driving on Hilton Drive, Aberdeen, from Hilton Avenue to Six Roads Roundabout. Access will be maintained to Hilton Circle when possible. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of carriageway for any purpose for the duration of the works. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during ACC removal concrete street lighting columns.
