Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a one-way restriction on Auchmill Road service road for numbers 154-216, Aberdeen, between its junctions with A96 Auchmill Road and Cairnfield Place, Bucksburn. The permitted direction of travel is westbound only from 08:00 on 13th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 17th September, 2021.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Auchmill Road, Auchmill Terrace, Cairnfield Circle, Cairnfield Crescent, Cairnfield Gardens, Cairnfield Place, Aberdeen from 8th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 19th October, 2021.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
Alternative Route: An alternative route for eastbound vehicles is available via A96 Auchmill Road.
