Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a one-way restriction on Wellington Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Crown Street and South College Street from 08:00 on 24th August, 2021, until 07:00 on 26th August, 2021. The permitted direction of travel will be eastbound only. An alternative route for westbound vehicles is available via South College Street, Millburn Street and Crown Street. There will also be a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets: Springbank Street, Aberdeen, from its junction with Crown Street to a point 20 metres in a westerly direction from 08:00 on 24th August, 2021, until 07:00 on 26th August, 2021. An alternative route is available via Crown Street, Springbank Terrace and Bon-Accord Street The one-way system on Springbank Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Crown Street and Bon-Accord Street will be suspended to allow egress from properties; Affleck Place, Aberdeen, from its junction with Affleck Street to the car park entrance for Grampian Housing from 08:00 on 30th August, 2021, until 07:00 on 1st September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Affleck Street, Crown Street and Marywell Street; Academy Street, Aberdeen, from its junction with Crown Street to the rear of number 86 Crown Street. An alternative route is available via Crown Street, Union Street and Dee Street and also on St Johns Place, Aberdeen, between its junction with Crown Street and Crown Lane. An alternative route is available via Crown Street and Crown Terrace from 08:00 on 2nd September, 2021, until 07:00 on 4th September, 2021. The one-way system on St Johns Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Crown Street and Crown Terrace will be suspended to allow egress from properties; Crown Lane, Aberdeen, from its junction with St Johns Place to the boundary at the rear of number 89 and 91 Crown Street from 08:00 on 7th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 8th September 2021. An alternative route is available via St Johns Place, Crown Terrace and St Marys Place; St Johns Place, Aberdeen, between its junction with Crown Terrace and Crown Lane from 08:00 on 9th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 10th September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Crown Street and Crown Terrace. The one-way system on St Johns Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Crown Street and Crown Terrace will be suspended to allow egress from properties. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Academy Street, Affleck Place, Affleck Street, Bridge Street, College Street, Crown Lane, Crown Street, Crown Terrace, Dee Place, Marywell Street, Oldmill Road, South College Street, Springbank Street, St Johns Place, St Marys Place, Wellington Place, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 24th August, 2021, until 17:00 on 4th October, 2021. Due to any ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 50 metres at a time.
