Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets:

Wallacebrae Terrace, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Fairview Street and Wallacebrae Place from 08:00 on 26th August, 2021, until 17:00 on 27th August, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fairview Street and Wallacebrae Drive; Wallacebrae Terrace, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Wallacebrae Walk and Wallacebrae Place from 08:00 on 1st September, 2021, until 17:00 on 2nd September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fairview Street and Wallacebrae Drive; Wallacebrae Terrace, Aberdeen, from its junction with Wallacebrae Path to the boundary between number 22 and 24 Wallacebrae Terrace from 08:00 on 6th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 7th September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fairview Street and Wallacebrae Drive; Wallacebrae Terrace, Aberdeen, from its junction with Wallacebrae Path to the boundary between number 32 and 34 Wallacebrae Terrace from 08:00 on 8th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 9th September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fairview Street and Wallacebrae Drive; Wallacebrae Crescent, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 5 and 7 Wallacebrae Crescent to the boundary between number 15 and 17 Wallacebrae Crescent from 08:00 on 10th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 11th September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Wallacebrae Drive; Wallacebrae Drive, Aberdeen, from its northern junction with Wallacebrae Crescent to the boundary between number 21 and 23 Wallacebrae Drive from 08:00 on 13th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 14th September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fairview Street and Wallacebrae Terrace;

Wallacebrae Drive, Aberdeen, from its southern junction with Wallacebrae Crescent to the car park entrance for number 14-32 Wallacebrae Drive from 08:00 on 17th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 18th September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fairview Street and Wallacebrae Terrace; Wallacebrae Crescent, Aberdeen, from its southern junction with Wallacebrae Drive to the boundary between number 59 and 61 Wallacebrae Crescent from 08:00 on 20th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 21st September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Wallacebrae Drive; Wallacebrae Drive, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Wallacebrae Gardens and Wallacebrae Wynd from 08:00 on 23rd September, 2021, until 17:00 on 24th September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fairview Street and Wallacebrae Terrace; Wallacebrae Wynd, Aberdeen, from its southern junction with Wallacebrae Drive to the gable end of number 76 Wallacebrae Wynd from 08:00 on 27th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 28th September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Wallacebrae Drive

Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.

There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Fairview Street, Wallacebrae Avenue, Wallacebrae Crescent, Wallacebrae Drive, Wallacebrae Gardens, Wallacebrae Path, Wallacebrae Place, Wallacebrae Road, Wallacebrae Terrace, Wallacebrae Walk, Wallacebrae Wynd, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 24th August, 2021, until 17:00 on 4th October, 2021.

Due to any ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required.

The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
