Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order is to impose the restrictions listed below.
From 08:00 on Monday, 19 July 2021, until 06:00 on Friday, 23 July 2021, there will be a one-way restriction on Clifton Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Clifton Road and Burnett Place. The permitted direction of travel will be southbound only. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. An alternative route is available via Great Northern Road and Leslie Road. There will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Leslie Road, Aberdeen, from the junction with Clifton Road to the boundary between number 28 and 30 Leslie Road, and on either side of Clifton Road, Aberdeen, from the junction with Leslie Road to the boundary between number 123 and 125 Clifton Road to allow buses to manoeuvre the diversion route.
From 18:00 on Wednesday 21 July 2021, until 06:00 on Thursday 22 July 2021, and from 18:00 on Thursday 22 July 2021, until 06:00 on Friday 23 July 2021, there will be a one-way restriction on Clifton Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Leslie Road and Primrosehill Gardens. The permitted direction of travel will be northbound only. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. An alternative route is available via Hilton Street, Hilton Drive, and Hilton Avenue.
From 18:00 on Friday 23 July 2021, until 18:00 on Sunday 25 July 2021, there will be a prohibition of driving on Primrosehill Drive, Aberdeen, between its junction with Leslie Road and the garages at the rear of number 67 Leslie Road. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. An alternative route is available via Leslie Road, Clifton Road and Primrosehill Gardens. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during works for Aberdeen City Council.
