Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 3rd August, 2021, until 07:00 on 6th August, 2021 is to impose a one-way restriction on Bedford Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Bedford Road and Erskine Street. The permitted direction of travel will be south-east bound only. An alternative route for north-west bound vehicles is available via Sunnyside Road and Bedford Road.

There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Bedford Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Bedford Road and Erskine Street and also on either side of Bedford Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Bedford Avenue to the boundary between number 38 and 40 Bedford Road.

The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones.

The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
