Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets:
Cadenhead Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Cadenhead Place to a point 15 metres in a north westerly direction from 08:00 on 15th July, 2021, until 17:00 on 16th July, 2021. An alternative route is available via Cadenhead Place, Beattie Avenue and Carnie Drive; Cadenhead Place, Aberdeen, from its junction with Beattie Avenue to the boundary between number 1-12 and 14-24 Cadenhead Place from 08:00 on 19th July, 2021, until 17:00 on 20th July, 2021. An alternative route is available via Beattie Avenue, Carnie Drive and Cadenhead Road; Gillespie Crescent, Aberdeen, from its southern junction with Gillespie Place to the boundary between number 26-36 and 38-48 Gillespie Crescent from 08:00 on 21st July, 2021, until 17:00 on 22nd July, 2021. An alternative route is available via Gillespie Place; Gillespie Place, Aberdeen, from its junction with Brough Place to the boundary between number 2-16 and 18-30 Gillespie Place from 08:00 on 23rd July, 2021, until 17:00 on 24th July, 2021. An alternative route is available via Brough Place, Carnie Drive and Gillespie Crescent; Gillespie Crescent, Aberdeen, from its junction with Carnie Drive to the car park entrance at the side of number 7 Gillespie Crescent from 08:00 on 26th July, 2021, until 17:00 on 27th July, 2021. An alternative route is available via Carnie Drive, Brough Place and Gillespie Place; Gillespie Place, Aberdeen, from its junction with Brough Place to the footpath in front of number 14-24 Carnie Gardens from 08:00 on 28th July, 2021, until 17:00 on 29th July, 2021. An alternative route is available via Brough Place, Carnie Drive and Gillespie Crescent; Carnie Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Back Hilton Road to the gable end of number 61 Carnie Drive from 08:00 on 30th July, 2021, until 17:00 on 31st July, 2021. An alternative route is available via Back Hilton Road, Westburn Drive and Ashgrove Road;
Cattofield Gardens, Aberdeen, from its northern entrance of the inset road to the boundary between number 34 and 36 Cattofield Gardens from 08:00 on 3rd August,
2021, until 17:00 on 4th August, 2021. An alternative route is available via southern entrance of the inset road to Cattofield Gardens;
Cattofield Gardens, Aberdeen, from its southern entrance of the inset road to the boundary between number 2 and 4 Cattofield Gardens from 08:00 on 5th August, 2021, until 17:00 on 6th August, 2021. An alternative route is available via northern entrance of the inset road to Cattofield Gardens.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Ashgrove Road, Back Hilton Road, Beattie Avenue, Brough Place, Cadenhead Place, Cadenhead Road, Carnie Drive,Cattofield Gardens, Elder Place, Gillespie Crescent, Gillespie Place, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 16th July, 2021, until 17:00 on 26th August, 2021.
Due to any ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required.
