Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets:

Taransay Crescent, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 7 and 9 Taransay Crescent to the boundary between number 13 and 15 Taransay Crescent from 08:00 on 29th June, 2021, until 17:00 on 30th June, 2021. ; Taransay Crescent, Aberdeen, from its junction with Lewis Road to a point 15 metres in a north easterly direction from 08:00 on 1st July, 2021, until 17:00 on 2nd July, 2021.

Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.

There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Lerwick Road, Lewis Road, Mull Way, Orkney Avenue, Portree Avenue, Shetland Walk, Taransay Crescent, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 29th June, 2021, until 17:00 on 9th August, 2021.

Due to any ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required.

The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 50 metres at a time. For an update as to when the no-waiting restrictions will be implemented please contact GCU (UK) Ltd on 07940333452

The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
