Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 7th May, 2021, until 17:00 on 9th May, 2021 is to impose a temporary One-Way restriction on Esslemont Avenue Aberdeen, between its junctions with Belgrave Terrace and Whitehall Place, permitted direction of travel is in a south-easterly direction. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Esslemont Avenue, Aberdeen, from its junction with Whitehall Place to the boundary between number 38 and 40 and Esslemont Avenue The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.

Alternative Route: An alternative route for north-west bound vehicles is via Whitehall Place, Grosvenor Place and Belgrave Terrace and for north-west bound bus services is via Whitehall Place, Craigie Loanings and Westfield Road
