Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 3 March, 2021, until 18:00 on 19 April, 2021, is to close Abbey Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Baxter Street and Abbey Lane. There will also be a prohibition of waiting at any time on either side of Abbey Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Baxter Street and Abbey Lane. This will be limited to 100metres at a time. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense
The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during drainage works by AA Civils for Scottish Water.
