Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 27 January 2021, until 17:00 on 29 January 2021, is to impose a temporary one-way restriction on Smithfield Drive, Aberdeen, between its junctions with North Anderson Drive inset road and Middlefield Place. The permitted direction of travel will be northbound only. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of either side of Smithfield Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with North Anderson Drive inset road to the boundary between numbers 10-12 and 14-16 Smithfield Drive. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during works for Scottish Water.
