Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets: Cairnwell Drive, Aberdeen, between its junction with Cairnwell Avenue and the boundary between number 103 and 105 Cairnwell Drive from 08:00 on 12th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 13th January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Craigendarroch Place, Cairnwell Place and Cairnwell Avenue; The eastern carriageway of Cairnwell Avenue, Aberdeen, between its junction with Cairnwell Place and the boundary between number 16 and 18 Cairnwell Avenue from 08:00 on 15th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 16th January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Cairnwell Place and the western carriageway of Cairnwell Avenue; The western carriageway of Cairnwell Avenue, Aberdeen, between its junction with Cairnwell Place and the boundary between number 15 and 17 Cairnwell Avenue from 08:00 on 22nd January, 2021, until 17:00 on 23rd January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Cairnwell Place and the eastern carriageway of Cairnwell Avenue; Cairnwell Place, Aberdeen, between its eastern junction with Cairnwell Avenue and the gable end of number 19 Cairnwell Place from 08:00 on 26th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 27th January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Craigendarroch Place, Invercauld Road and Cairnwell Avenue; Cairnwell Drive, Aberdeen, between its junction with Cairnwell Place and the gable end of number 116 Cairnwell Drive from 08:00 on 1st February, 2021, until 17:00 on 2nd February, 2021. An alternative route is available via Cairnwell Place and Cairnwell Avenue; Birkhall Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Cairnwell Drive and Clunie Place Lane from 08:00 on 3rd February, 2021, until 17:00 on 4th February, 2021. An alternative route is available via Cairnwell Drive, Cairnwell Place, Cairnwell Avenue and Invercauld Road; Invercauld Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Invercauld Place and Cairnwell Avenue from 08:00 on 5th February, 2021, until 17:00 on 6th February, 2021. An alternative route is available via Cairnwell Avenue, Cairnwell Place and Craigendarroch Place; Cairnwell Avenue, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Clunie Place and Cairnwell Place from 08:00 on 12th February, 2021, until 17:00 on 13th February, 2021. An alternative route is available via Cairnwell Place, Craigendarroch Place and Invercauld Road.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Birkhall Place, Cairnwell Avenue, Cairnwell Drive, Cairnwell Place, Clunie Place, Invercauld Place, Invercauld Road, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 11th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 21st February, 2021.
Due to any ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required.
