Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets: The lane between number 37 and 39 Cairnfield Place, Aberdeen, between its junction with Cairnfield Place and a point 15 metres in a westerly direction from 08:00 on 21st January, 2021, until 17:00 on 22nd January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Cairnfield Place and the lane between number 91 Cairnfield Place and the rear of number 233 Westburn Road; Beechgrove Gardens, Aberdeen, between its junction with Beechgrove Terrace and the rear of numbers 46/48 Beechgrove Terrace from 08:00 on 26th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 27th January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Beechgrove Terrace, Beechgrove Avenue and Mid Stocket Road; Mile-End Avenue Lane, Aberdeen, between its junction with Cairnfield Place and a point 15 metres in an easterly direction from 08:00 on 28th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 29th January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Cairnfield Place, Mid Stocket Road, Mile-End Avenue; Hosefield Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Cairnfield Place and a point 15 metres in an easterly direction from 08:00 on 2nd February, 2021, until 17:00 on 3rd February, 2021. An alternative route is available via Cairnfield Place and. Mid Stocket Road; Beechgrove Gardens, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 6 and 7 Beechgrove Gardens to the gable end of number 8 Beechgrove Gardens and also on the lane between number 7 and 8 Beechgrove Gardens, Aberdeen, between its junction with Beechgrove Gardens and a point 15 metres in a westerly direction. An alternative route is available via Mid Stocket Road, Beechgrove Avenue and Beechgrove Terrace, Beechgrove Gardens and the lane between number 1 Beechgrove Gardens and the rear of numbers 46/48 Beechgrove Terrace from 08:00 on 4th February, 2021, until 17:00 on 5th February, 2021; Mile-End Avenue Lane, Aberdeen, between its southern junction with Mile-End Avenue and a point 15 metres in a westerly direction from 08:00 on 9th February, 2021, until 17:00 on 10th February, 2021. An alternative route is available via Mile-End Avenue and northern junction with Mile-End Avenue; Mile-End Avenue Lane, Aberdeen, between its northern junction with Mile-End Avenue and a point 15 metres in a westerly direction from 08:00 on 11th February, 2021, until 17:00 on 12th February, 2021. An alternative route is available via Mile-End Avenue and the southern junction with Mile-End Avenue. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Beechgrove Avenue, Beechgrove Gardens, Beechgrove Gardens Lane, Beechgrove Terrace, Cairnfield Place, Hosefield Road, Mile-End Avenue, Mile-End Avenue Lane, Mile-End Pace, Westburn Road, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 11th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 21st February, 2021. Due to any ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 50 metres at a time.
