Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets:
Tedder Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Wingate Road and Dempsey Terrace from 08:00 on 14th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 15th January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Wingate Road, Wingate Place and Bradley Terrace; Tedder Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Bradley Terrace and Dempsey Terrace from 08:00 on 19th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 20th January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Wingate Road, Wingate Place and Bradley Terrace; Portal Crescent, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 27 and 29 Portal Crescent to the car park entrance for numbers 44-118 Portal Crescent from 08:00 on 21st January, 2021, until 17:00 on 22nd January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Tedder Road, Bradley Terrace and Tedder Street; Portal Crescent, Aberdeen, between its junction with Wingate Road and the boundary between number 29 and 31 Portal Crescent from 08:00 on 25th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 26th January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Tedder Road, Bradley Terrace and Tedder Street; Wingate Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Tedder Street and the boundary between number 39 and 41 Wingate Road from 08:00 on 27th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 28th January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Tedder Street, Bradley Terrace and Wingate Place; Bradley Terrace, Aberdeen, between its junction with Tedder Street and a point 20 metres in a westerly direction from 08:00 on 29th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 30th January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Tedder Street, Portal Crescent and Tedder Road; Wingate Place, Aberdeen, between its junction with Bradley Terrace and the boundary between number 13 and 15 Wingate Place from 08:00 on 3rd February, 2021, until 17:00 on 4th February, 2021. An alternative route is available via Bradley Terrace, Tedder Street, and Wingate Road;
Bradley Terrace, Aberdeen, between its junction with Wingate Place and the rear of number 19 Wingate Place from 08:00 on 8th February,2021, until 17:00 on 9th February, 2021. An alternative route is available via Wingate Place, Wingate Road and Tedder Street; Wingate Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Tillydrone Avenue and a point 20 metres in a westerly direction from 08:00 on 10th February, 2021, until 17:00 on 11th February, 2021. An alternative route is available via Tillydrone Avenue, St Machar Drive, Tedder Road and Portal Crescent.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Bradley Terrace, Dempsey Terrace, Portal Crescent, Portal Terrace, St Machar Drive, St Machar Road, Tedder Road, Tedder Street, Tillydrone Avenue, Wingate Place, Wingate Road, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 11th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 21st February, 2021.
Due to any ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required.

The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
