Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on Monday 14th December 2020, until 17:00 on Thursday 24th December 2020, is to close Beach Esplanade, Aberdeen, between Links Road and New Pier Road. There will also be a prohibition of waiting at any time on either side of the same stretch of road. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during the removal of the safer spaces cycle lanes by ACC.
