Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 9th December, 2020, until 17:00 on 10th December, 2020, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Kings Gate service road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Sanday Road and the boundary between number 220 and 222 Kings Gate. . There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road and also on Hazledene Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Queens Road and the boundary between number 7 and 9 Hazledene Road. An alternative route is available via Queens Road, Springfield Road, Woodburn Avenue and Woodburn Place. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road.


Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.


The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
