Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets: Tanfield Walk, Aberdeen, between its junction with Summer Street and the boundary between number 27 and 31 Tanfield Walk from 08:00 on 5th November, 2020, until 17:00 on 6th November, 2020.Summer Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Tanfield Walk and Western Road from 08:00 on 16th November, 2020, until 17:00 on 22nd November, 2020. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Anderson Avenue, Brown Street, Clifton Road (between Anderson Road and Western Road), Grandholm Street, Summer Street, Tanfield Walk, Western Road, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 3rd November, 2020, until 17:00 on 14th December, 2020 Due to any ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 50 metres at a time.
