Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 17:30 on 16 August, 2020, until 18:00 on 6 September, 2020, is to suspend the parking for any purpose on either side of Palmerston Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Palmerston Road and Old Ford Road and on the east side of Palmerston Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Palmerston Road and Old Ford Road. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. From 07:30 on 17 August, 2020, until 18:00 on 6 September, 2020, is to close Palmerston Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Palmerston Road and Old Ford Road. During this time the existing one way on Old Ford Road, Aberdeen and one-way restriction on Palmerston Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Palmerston Place and Old Ford Road, shall be suspended. This is to allow two-way traffic on this stretch of road. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during building repairs works by Crest Glazing Ltd.
