Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate on 29 July 2020 from 07:30 - 17:30, is to impose a prohibition of driving on George St from Spring Garden to Hutcheon Street, Maberly Street from Skene Square to George Street and Spring Garden from George Street to no 72 Spring Garden. There is also a prohibition of waiting between 017:30 and 17:30. The restrictions are necessary to protect public safety during Spaces for People works.
