Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:00 on 1st August, 2020, until 21:30 on 2nd August, 2020, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Davidson Drive, Aberdeen, between its southern junction with Davidson Gardens and Howes Road, there will also be a prohibition of right turns from Davidson Gardens, Aberdeen on to Davidson Drive.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Davidson Drive, Aberdeen, between its southern junction with Davidson Gardens and the boundary between number 52 and 53 Davidson Drive.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the following streets to allow bus manoeuvres:
The southern carriageway of Davidson Gardens, Aberdeen, between its junction with Springhill Road and the gable end of number 7 Davidson Gardens; The northern carriageway of Davidson Gardens, Aberdeen, between its junction with Springhill Road and the gable end of number 8 Davidson Gardens; The turning area on Davidson Gardens, Aberdeen, between the northern and southern carriageways
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
