Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;
Cove Gardens, Aberdeen, between its junction with Cove Court and the boundary between number 46 and 47 Cove Gardens from 08:00 on 18th June, 2020, until 17:00 on 19th June, 2020; Cove Circle, Aberdeen, between the entrance to the car park for number 14-20 Cove Circle to the gable end of number 21 Cove Circle from 08:00 on 25th June, 2020, until 17:00 on 26th June, 2020. An alternative route is available via Cove Crescent; Cove Gardens, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 77 and 78 Cove Gardens to the western gable end of number 79 Cove Gardens from 08:00 on 29th June, 2020, until 17:00 on 30th June, 2020; Cove Circle, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 22 and 24 Cove Circle to the entrance to the car park for number 35-41 Cove Circle from 08:00 on 2nd July, 2020, until 17:00 on 3rd July, 2020. An alternative route is available via Cove Crescent; Cove Circle, Aberdeen, from the entrance to the car park opposite number 45 Cove Circle to the boundary between number 49 and 51 Cove Circle from 08:00 on 6th July, 2020, until 17:00 on 7th July, 2020. An alternative route is available via Cove Crescent; Cove Crescent, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Cove Wynd and Cove Circle from 08:00 on 9th July, 2020, until 17:00 on 10th July, 2020. An alternative route is available via Cove Road; Redwood Crescent, Aberdeen, between its junction with Maple Place and the boundary between number 13 and 15 Redwood Crescent from 08:00 on 13th July, 2020, until 17:00 on 14th July, 2020. An alternative route is available via Loirston Road, Sinclair Place and Fittick Place.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Birchfield Place, Burnbutts Crescent, Cove Circle, Cove Court, Cove Crescent, Cove Gardens, Cove Path, Cove Place, Cove Road, Cove Walk, Cove Way, Cove Wynd, Loirston Road, Maple Place, Pinewood Place, Redwood Crescent, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 17th June, 2020, until 17:00 on 28th July, 2020.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
Due to any ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required.
