Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 16:00 on 23 April, 2020 until 26 April, 2020, is to prohibit driving on The Green, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Correction Wynd, Carmelite Street and Rennies Wynd, from 16:00 until 24:00 on each of these days.
From 05:00 until 20:00 on 25 April 2020, Belmont Street, Little Belmont Street and Gaelic Lane, Aberdeen, will be closed with the exception of loading or unloading vehicles or vehicles taking access to disabled parking bays on Little Belmont Street. Also, during this time, the existing one-way restriction on Little Belmont Street, Aberdeen, will be suspended.
These measures are necessary to protect public safety during the Green Food Markets and Belmont Street Markets.
