Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary one-way restriction on Queens Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Springfield Road and Kepplestone Roundabout from 18:30 on 1st May, 2020, until 06:00 on 4th May, 2020 and from 18:30 on 15th May, 2020, until 06:00 on 18th May, 2020. The permitted direction of travel will be eastbound. An alternative route for westbound vehicles is available via North Anderson Drive and Kings Gate.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Anderson Drive, Bayview Road, Earls Court Gardens, Kepplestone Avenue, Kepplestone Gardens, Queens Avenue, Queens Crescent, Queens Parade, Queens Road, Royfold Crescent, Rubislaw Den South, Rubislaw Drive, Rubislaw Park Crescent, Rubislaw View, Viewfield Road, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 15th April, 2020, until 17:00 on 26th May, 2020.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time.
